Aboga

Our Mission

Democratizing legal analysis with AI

For decades, the most sophisticated legal analysis tools were available only to large firms with dedicated technology teams and seven-figure budgets. Aboga changes that. We give solo practitioners, boutique firms, and growing practices the same analytical power -- through an AI assistant that understands your documents, your cases, and your practice.

Our goal is not to replace attorneys. It is to remove the hours of routine research and document review that keep skilled lawyers from focusing on the work that requires human judgment, strategy, and advocacy.

What we believe

The principles that guide every product decision at Aboga.

Accuracy over speed

Legal decisions have real consequences. We build systems that prioritize grounded, citable answers over fast but unreliable ones. Every response is tied to source material in your documents.

Confidentiality by design

Attorney-client privilege is not a feature -- it is a professional obligation. Aboga is architected from the ground up with tenant isolation, encryption, and zero cross-account data sharing.

Simplicity for practitioners

We build for attorneys, not engineers. Every feature is designed to integrate naturally into legal workflows without requiring technical knowledge or lengthy onboarding.

Continuous improvement

The law evolves, and so do we. We work directly with attorneys to identify gaps, refine outputs, and expand capabilities in response to real practice needs.

How it works under the hood

Retrieval-Augmented Generation
Aboga uses RAG architecture to ground every AI response in documents you have uploaded. The system retrieves the most relevant passages from your files and uses them as the factual basis for each answer, reducing hallucination and enabling precise citations.
Secure document processing
Documents are processed in isolated compute environments and stored with AES-256 encryption at rest. Transmission between your browser and our servers uses TLS 1.3. No document data persists in shared caches or logs.
Adaptive personalization
Over time, the platform builds a preference profile for your practice area, jurisdiction, and working style. This context is used to refine how it frames answers and drafts content, making the assistant progressively more useful.
